Not Just a Trade Show – Virtual Experiences That Help Organizations Lead Social Change

Pascal Kaplan, CEO and Co-Founder of iCohere, spoke on Online Engagement at the Annual Summit of the Virtual Edge Institute, held February 22 and 23, 2010 in Santa Clara, California.

Virtual meeting alternatives have been available for many years, but it took the economic crisis of 2008-2009 to really bring this event format to the forefront. Companies in the commercial realm, nonprofit associations, and government agencies are all discovering that virtual environments can provide exciting solutions to offset the new economics of business communications and to build revenue and relationships in new ways.

The VirtualEdge Summit (www.virtualedgesummit.com) is held annually to offer innovative ideas and practical guidance for designing, marketing, producing, and managing virtual events and meetings.
